A PNA is a statement of the need for pharmaceutical services of an area. PNAs are used by NHS England and NHS Improvement to aid in the consideration of applications to join the pharmaceutical list for the area under The National Health Service (Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2013, as amended.
