Summer in Dorset is an opportunity for children and young people to:
- take part in an exciting programme of activities and events
- make new friends
- take part in physical exercise and learn new skills
- enjoy tasty and nutritious food
- join in the fun if your child has special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- take part in short breaks
- have lots of fun!

If your child is eligible for benefit-related free school meals they're also eligible for a Summer in Dorset pass code.
If you registered your child for Easter in Dorset you do not need to sign up again; your pass code will still be valid.

Once you sign up we'll send you your Summer in Dorset pass code by text or email. Keep your code somewhere safe as you'll need it to book free places on holiday activities throughout the year.
Many of the activities that accept the pass code will also be open to fee-paying customers too.
If your child is not eligible for free school meals, many activities that accept the pass code will also be open to fee-paying customers too. You can search for activities in your area on our Family Information Directory.
Activities for children with SEND
To make sure we're still supporting all our families we're using Summer in Dorset as an opportunity to encourage all providers to be as inclusive as possible. We're offering more funding and training to make sure our providers have the support they need to make activities suitable for children and young people with SEND.
