These are some of the professionals you'll meet along the way:

  • social workers are here to make sure that everyone works together to support you and help make you safe
  • advocates are here to listen to you and make sure your voice is heard. They're also here to help you complain if you want or need to
  • a Child Protection Chair will meet with you before your Child Protection Conference and talk to you about what's going to happen
  • corporate parents are people who are ultimately responsible for you, your care and your safety
  • mental health workers are people that help you to deal with what's going on positively
