The government announced in the Autumn Statement 2025 that a new 100% EVCP Relief will be available from 1 April 2026.
Summary of the EVCP Relief:
- can apply after 01/04/2026
- 100% relief scheme available to eligible businesses until 31 March 2036
- will apply to EVCPs and electric vehicle only forecourts, where they are separately assessed by the Valuation Office Agency
- the relief is likely to be applied automatically, when these assessments are rated in the new 2026 rating list
- if eligible, and relief has not been awarded, please contact the Business Rates and BIDs team
- this is a newly announced relief, and regulations will be available in due course
