Premises plan criteria

The plans submitted with an application need to meet the following criteria:

  • be at a scale of 1:100 (unless agreed otherwise with the Licensing Authority)
  • show the boundary of the building, and any internal walls and external walls if different and the perimeter of the premises
  • show the location of doors into and out of the building
  • show any other escape routes from the premises
  • if the premises are to be used for more than one licensable activity, the area where each activity will take place
  • show fixed structures (including furniture)
  • show any objects temporarily in a fixed location (not furniture) such as pool tables or gaming machines which may impact on the ability of individuals to use exits or escape routes
  • show stages or any raised areas, including the location and height relative to the floor
  • show where there are any steps, stairs, elevators or lifts
  • indicate where the toilets are
  • clearly show the positioning of all fire safety or other safety equipment
  • if there are any kitchen/s
