Dorset Council is offering nine lots for sale at the Symonds and Sampson auction on 24 September 2026.
The lots comprise a development site in Fortuneswell High Street, land in Cross Lanes, Melcombe Bingham and eight garage investments in Shaftesbury, Alton Pancras, Blandford St Mary, Stalbridge, Blandford Forum and Dorchester.

Dorset Council gives notice of its intention to dispose of an area of land which consists or forms part of an area of deemed open space. The land to be disposed of, by way of freehold transfer is:
Corfe Mullen Recreation Ground (County Field), Candy’s Lane, Corfe Mullen, Wimborne, also known as County Field. Part of Land Registry Title number DT236969
It is proposed that the land to be transferred, having an area of 8.59 hectares or thereabouts, is to continue in its current use as public open space.
Plans showing the area of land intended for disposal (outlined in red) is shown herewith and can also be inspected at County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ between the hours of 9:00am and 4:45pm Monday to Friday.
