Bournemouth and Poole recycling centres
Millhams Community Recycling Centre in Bournemouth
East Dorset residents can also access Bournemouth Borough Council's Community Recycling Centre.
In order to visit the site you will need to provide a recent East Dorset council tax bill.
Residents living in a house of multiple occupancy or bed-sit type accommodation will need to obtain a copy of the East Dorset council tax bill from their landlord or the property owner to gain access to the Millhams facility.

Nuffield Household Waste Recycling Centre in Poole
Dorset residents outside of Poole can use the Borough of Poole's Nuffield Household Waste Recycling centre, provided you live in:
- Corfe Mullen
- Lytchett Matravers
- Lytchett Minster
- or parts of Broadstone and Upton (and you pay your council tax to either East Dorset District Council or Purbeck District Council)
To find out if you can use the Nuffield Household Waste Recycling Centre, you can check the list of eligible streets and postcodes:
You may be asked to provide appropriate proof of residency such as:
- recent council tax bill (this is the preferred document)
- recent utility bill
- current driving licence

Please note that you will not be able to bring vans onto either the Nuffield Household Waste Recycling centre or the Millhams Community Recycling Centre, even if you have a permit to use a van at Dorset Waste Partnership recycling centres.
