When can I start work?

Building notice applications Full plans applications
Building notice applications can commence within 48 hours of the application being submitted.                                                                                                                              Work for full plans applications can commence within 48 hours of the application being submitted. We need to check your plans to issue an approval, prior to work starting. However, you can start work earlier, at your own risk.

Upon commencement of work please inform Building Control to arrange for an initial site inspection. Our surveyor will then visit as work progresses at the stages outlined in the Inspection Service Plan to make sure it complies with the building regulations.
