Claudia: "I really like being part of the group, everyone is supportive. We can talk to each other, and people listen. It makes me happy that I am helping to make things better for people."
Pauline: "As a carer of an adult with learning disabilities who uses adult social care I find volunteering really helpful and rewarding. I have always volunteered as I couldn't work because of my son and have really benefited from doing it. You meet like-minded people who only want the best for others and sometimes you can change things. Working with the team from QARG has been a pleasure as they are people who care about their what they are doing and getting the best outcome for the people of Dorset. I have really learnt a lot and enjoyed my time with the group and would happily do it again."
David: "Being part of this group has given all of us the chance to learn about how the council works, is structured and how it aims to develop, improve and adapt the services it provides by listening to, and engaging with, its residents."
