The Wimborne north route is gritted as follows:
- Middlehill Road, Cannon Hill Road and Pilford Heath Road
- travel to Cannon Hill Road junction to grit Colehill Lane, Wimborne Road, Rowlands Hill and St Johns Hill until Leigh Road
- travel to Lewans Lane Roundabout gritting around it and onto Poole Road, to and around Oakley Hill Roundabout to Merley Roundabout
- return to Lewans Lane Roundabout to grit up Lewans Lane to Park Lane and onto Leigh Road to roundabout
- return to Park Lane junction to grit up Rowlands Hill around roundabout and taking left onto Hanham Road to grit dual section both sides
- back to Rowlands Hill to grit up to the fire station on Allenview Road and proceed along Rowlands Hill to St Johns Hill Roundabout
- travel to Smugglers Lane to grit Colehill Lane junction, Furzehill onto Grange, Cranborne Road, Wimborne Road, West Borough and Stone Lane onto B3082
- return to West Borough to grit Priors Walk junction and along West Borough to Stone Lane junction
- down East Borough to Priors Walk, continue along East Borough to The Square and the link through to West Borough
- loop back round to grit High Street until King Street
- from Grange junction along B3078 until Horton Inn, then into Three Legged Cross to West Moors Roundabout
- continue to West Moors Road, Station Road, to and around first A31 roundabout, over the A31, down West Moors Road to Wimborne Road East
