- return to town to grit Long Street, Digby Road to Half Moon Street junction
- return to Long Street to grit St Swithens Road to Newlands junction
- from Back Lane to A30 junction, Higher Cheap Street and junction around The Green roundabout
- from Cheap Street to Long Street junction
- return to Newlands to grit North Road
- travel to A30 junction to grit Bristol Road, Kings Road and access to primary school
- return to Bristol Road junction to grit B3145 to county boundary
- travel back to A30 to grit through Henstridge and Stalbridge
- grit route back to Gibbs Marsh depot
