Our team

Dorset Council’s Local Land Charges Team is made up of:

1 Team Leader
1 Senior Land Charges Officer
11 Local Land Charges Officers

They deliver an effective and efficient statutory local land charges service. The team have strong team workorking, creating a positive working environment for high volume work. Each member of the team contributes their fair share of the workload and fully understands what their responsibilities are and where they fit in with the running of the business. Each Officer feels a sense of belonging to the team, are committed to their work and really care about the success of the Local Land Charges business.

What we do for Dorset

The Local Land Charges Team are responsible for the Local Authority Searches within Dorset. This is a requirement that needs to be completed before anyone exchanging contracts on a property can take place.
