Why is there a blue tag on my bin?
Your food waste bin contained items we cannot collect. The collection crew will have left your food waste and placed a blue advice tag on your bin.
What is not accepted in the food waste bin?
Items that are not accepted in the Recycle for Dorset weekly food waste collection include:
- plastic carrier bags, liners and film
- food packaging
- liquids
- oil or liquid fats
- pet waste
- nappies
- general rubbish
- recycling (such as bottles and cans)
- garden waste
What do I need to do?
Please remove any incorrect items and put them in the right container before your next collection.
