The Blandford to Sixpenney Handley route is gritted as follows:
- from Whitecliff, down Milldown Park Road, across traffic lights onto Damory Street, into East Street, Salisbury Street and back onto Damory Street
- Wimborne Road and St Leonards Avenue, up to fire station
- Wimborne Road up to Two Gates Roundabout and back down Wimborne Road
- Black Lane up to Blandford camp
- junction of Damory Street and East Street
- up Salisbury Road to Hill Top Roundabout, along A354 to and around Handley Cross Roundabout (Sixpenny Handley) and onto A354 to county boundary at Woodyates
- return to Handley Cross Roundabout to grit along B3081 up to Edmondsham cross roads, onto B3078 and up to Horton Inn
- continue along A354, across junction onto Millers Lane
- continue through Farnham until B3081 junction, then through Sixpenny Handley until Handley Cross Roundabout, taking exit down A354
- return to Shaftesbury Lane to Plough Estate junction
