Our team
The friendly and supportive team has grown significantly over the past five years and currently has two Senior Lawyers, three Lawyers, one Paralegal and a Support Officer. The team has an excellent working relationship with the client department, working collaboratively with the social work teams.
What we do for Dorset
The Adult Legal services team provides advice, training, and representation in court on a wide variety of adult social care matters, including applications in the Court of Protection and Ordinary Residence Disputes. The work is varied, with regular internal and external training sessions. There are weekly team meetings to discuss and allocate work and regular one to ones to support team members to attain their own personal work goals. Flexible working is supported across the team to ensure a positive work life balance.
