Dorset Council commissioned a series of reports from the Dorset Environmental Record Centre (DERC) to support the Dorset Local Plan. The reports bring together existing ecological records, including species, habitats and designated sites across Dorset. They have been used to inform site selection and access potential ecological impacts of proposed development locations.
The reports are divided into five parts. Part 1 provides an introduction and map key. Parts 2 to 5 contain ecological data for each geographic area within the unitary authority boundary.
