Background
Durlston Country Park is one of two country parks managed by Dorset Council and is a gateway to England's first natural World Heritage Site. It comprises over 100 hectares of coastal grassland and sea cliffs, and is one of the best places in Britain for watching birds and a wide range of other wildlife. The sea, cliffs, limestone downland and hay meadows are home to a variety of flora and fauna - over 500 plant species, over 250 bird varieties, 34 types of butterfly and much more.
