Pay policy statement - former Dorset County Council

The former Dorset County Council's pay policy statement sets out the authority's policies on the remuneration of its chief officers and lowest paid employees, and the relationship between the remuneration of its chief officers and non-chief officers.

The pay policy statement 2019/20 was approved by Staffing Committee in January and County Council in February 2019.

The Statement of Policy on the Local Government Pension Scheme 2014 Discretions for Dorset County Council set out the authority's approach to its application of the discretionary powers available to employers within the various LGPS regulations.

The Statement of Policy on The Local Government (Discretionary Payments) (Injury Allowances) Regulations 2011 is as follows:

Dorset County Council would not grant any benefit contained within The Local Government (Discretionary Payments) (Injury Allowances) Regulations 2011. This statement is effective from 16 November 2014.
