Coronavirus (COVID-19): updates and advice.

Organisational Revenue Support Fund

We're experiencing a few technical issues with the saving of data on the online form. To limit this problem, we advise you to record your answers to the questions in a separate document as well as completing the online application form.

We are launching 3 new rounds of discretionary revenue and project funds over the next 12 months.

Following public consultation, we are streamlining the approach to funding that was previously adopted by the 6 former councils in Dorset. The 3 new funds replace the service level agreements, Social Impact Fund and the Leisure Development Fund.

The new funding supports:

  • voluntary community sector
  • museums
  • arts
  • heritage
  • play
  • community centres and village halls

The Organisational Revenue Support Fund is the first round of funding, and will award grants to cultural and community organisations for up to 3 year revenue support agreements. It replaces the former service level agreements.

How much funding can my organisation get?

If your application is successful you will be granted a funding agreement for up to 3 years from 1 April 2021 for these amounts:

  • incorporated, constituted 'Not for Profit' organisations can apply for a minimum of £5,000 per year for a maximum of 3 years

  • voluntary community sector organisations can apply for a maximum of £10,000 per year or a maximum of £25,000 per year for exceptional strategic applications

  • cultural organisations can apply for a minimum of £5,000 up to £35,000 or exceptional strategic cultural organisations can apply for a maximum of £50,000
