Community funding round 4 re-opens
Please note, this fund has been delayed due to Covid-19. More information will be available at the end of May.
Community funding from Dorset Council Round 4 – ‘Micro’ Fund re-opens!
The Dorset Community Impact Fund (round 4) aims to support local community organisations and charities with a turnover of less than £500,000 to deliver new projects that improve the lives and well-being of people in the Dorset Council area. Projects will target those whose needs are greatest and support the council’s ambition of reducing demand for its services through connecting people to the right help, support and early intervention to improve resident’s lives.
The ‘micro’ fund which has reopened again invites local community groups to apply for grants of up to and including £1,000. Projects must be new and previous applications that were not successful in November 2019 cannot be re-submitted.
The Community Impact ‘micro’ fund opens again for new applications at midnight on Friday 20 December 2019 and closes at midnight on Sunday 9 February 2020. Those applying must demonstrate how their project would help achieve the council’s priorities for improving the lives of local people. If you are not sure if your project is eligible then please get in touch before applying.
