Voluntary car scheme for any health related appointments including support groups.
Users call an 0800 number which is disclosed to them only after registering with the scheme. Registration is available only to patients of the Puddletown surgery.
Must register first using the general enquiries telephone number. All drivers are DBS checked.
Who it's for
Anyone who is registered with the Puddletown GP surgery and who is infirm or has a disability and is notable to use or does not have access to public transport, and other people on the advice of the GP Surgery at Puddletown.
Costs
50p per mile, charges apply from driver’s home (and return minimum charge of £1.50). One-off registration fee for new members: £10
