School holiday activities 2020

October half term

We have lots of fun planned for the kids this October half term including Bikeability, Orienteering, Tennis, Football Acrobatics and swimming. Please book activities in advance by calling us on 01929 500 00.. Please note all activities have undergone new risk assessments and will be run in a COVID-Secure way.

Bikeability Level 1

Tuesday 27 October - 9am to 12pm, £7.75 (£20 has been subsidised by Department of Transport) Suitable for children age 6 to 14 (dependant on ability)

An off-road course that teaches bike control and skills for any situation and is a pre-requisite of Level 2 Bikeability. Certificate on successful completion. Takes place outside the Centre. Maximum number of 15 children.

Football Fun Day

Tuesday 27 October and Thursday 29 October - 9am to 12pm or 12.30 to 3.30pm. £9 per session, suitable for children age 6 to 14. Both session can be booked together for £15.00 but be aware of the 30 minute break

Come down and show your skills in our football fun day including tournaments, skill challenges and lots of prizes to be won. Please bring appropriate clothing in case of bad weather and plenty to drink.

Tennis Camp

Wednesday 28 October - 9am to 12.30pm. £9 per session, suitable for children age 4 to 14 years.

Coaching and fun games, Competitions and Prizes. Rackets provided if you are unable to bring your own. Sessions will follow LTA guidelines on social distancing and safe play.

Please wear sports kit and trainers and bring a coat if wet. Please also bring a snack drink and hand sanitiser.

Dance and Acrobatics workshop

Friday 30 October

10.45am to 11.35am or 11.45am to 12.35am. £5.25 per session, suitable for children age 5 to 10 years.

Half term fun with dance, games and acrobatics! Learn a short dance routine, adding some basic acro tricks to liven it up! Come along to make new friends, have loads of fun and learn lots too. You need socks with grip for acro and trainers for dance,

 Mini Medics

Tuesday 27 October 9.30am to 12.30pm. £25, suitable for children age 6 to 11 years

This is a very basic introduction to First Aid and defibrillation for children and aimed at children between the ages of 6-11 years. The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies. The course will show complete respect for the child’s ability, make it educational and practical and will instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured.

Family fitness

Monday 26, Tuesday 27, Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October, 9am to 9.45am, £30 for all sessions

Each morning join our fantastic fitness instructor for a 45 minute exercise class to keep the whole family moving using body weight exercises and raising your heart rate and getting you feeling good! Exercise is so important, now more than ever. We want to help everyone keep active and healthy through the coming Autumn and Winter months and family fitness is a great way to start! Book now with our reception team.

Orienteering

Friday 30 October, £5 each. Open to the whole family, join us as a team.

Get out, Get lost! With your family or on your own get the map and find the marks test your skills, walk it or run it! Up to you. Once you have found as many marks as you can drop them in to enter a competition to win a family swim.
