Indoor caving tunnels

Squeeze, slide, climb and challenge yourself in our indoor caving tunnel. Explore the tunnels or play games with your friends.

This adventurous activity is suitable for children and adults from 5 years and is ideal for groups.

About


Each session usually lasts an hour. The tunnel consists of:

  • over 125 metres of squeezes, slides, tunnels and climbs
  • 6 levels of tunnels and 9 different routes
  • fibre glass and wooden caving system

All cavers get a safety briefing and a head torch. We have an instructor on hand who can guide and support any nervous cavers. There are also emergency exits.

What to bring

  • comfortable clothing
  • comfortable shoes, ideally that tie up and will stay on your feet!
  • water
  • packed lunch if you are here all day

Multi-activity courses

Children and young people from 8 to 16 years can try out our tunnels as part of one of our multi-activity courses. These are 2, 4 or 5 day courses where you get to try a range of wet and dry activities, such as sailing, stand up paddle boarding and climbing.

Taster sessions

Our taster sessions are for children and young people from 8 to 16 years that want to give an activity a try as a one off or before joining a course. You can do a half day taster session or full day where you choose from 2 activities.
