Forest adventure and bush craft

Get your hands dirty and develop your bushcraft skills, cook up a feast and build your own shelter in the wilderness!

We think there is something really special about being in among the trees and connecting with nature, so our forest activities are designed to bring out your inner Bear Grylls.

We can create a bespoke programme for any group at our centre in our tree lined back garden or in private local woods. Sessions available for children from 5 years.

Activities include:

  • shelter building
  • outdoor cooking
  • fire lighting
  • making and following trails
  • basic bush craft skills

Your programme will depend on your age. For example young children could make dens for their teddy, whilst young people and adults could cook or sleep outdoors.

Sessions last for around 3 hours but can progress to day or multi day programmes.

These costs are for a 3 hour session for up to 8 people:

Dorset local authority school from £167
Groups of children/young people from £173
Adults from £196

Multi-activity courses

Children and young people from 8 to 16 years can have a go at some of our bushcraft activities as part of one of our multi-activity courses. These are 2, 4 or 5 day courses where you get to try a range of wet and dry activities, such as sailing, stand up paddle boarding and climbing.
