Want to give Robin Hood a run for his money or feel like a character on Game of Thrones? 

Come and give our indoor archery a try. 

We deliver bespoke sessions to schools (at our centre or your school), groups and individuals (children, young people and adults). Ideal for birthday parties!


We are currently running indoor target shooting at our centre.

The session is led by one our experienced instructors who will guide you through a fun and exciting taster session including training, games and challenges.

Sessions last up to 3 hours and can be combined with other activities in a morning, afternoon or evening session.


These costs are for a 3 hour session for a group of up to 8 or 12 people:

Dorset local authority school from £167
Groups of children and young people from £173
Adults from £196

What to bring

  • comfortable clothing*
  • soft comfortable shoes, ideally that tie up!
  • water
  • packed lunch if you are here all day

*Robin Hood costumes are recommended but not essential!

Archery at Carey

Our sister centre, Carey Outdoor Education Centre also run outdoor archery in their private woodland. Find out more about what they offer.

Multi-activity courses

Children and young people from 8 to 16 years can have a go at archery as part of one of our multi-activity courses. These are 2, 4 or 5 day courses where you get to try a range of wet and dry activities, such as sailing, stand up paddle boarding and bushcraft.
