Type of course
Our sports and activity first aid course is a practical 2 day course, run over 2 days. It's designed for people who work in the outdoors or who use the outdoors for pleasure. This is an assessment-based course.
The course is aimed at teachers, outdoor instructors and adventure activity leaders.
This qualification is recognised by most outdoor activity national governing bodies such as British Canoeing, Mountain Training and Royal Yachting Association among others.
The outdoor course is an extended version of the sports and activity course.

What to wear and bring
Bring clothing suitable for the outdoors as many scenarios could take place outside. You'll be expected to act as first aider or casualty indoors and outdoors.
We provide all equipment including course manual and certification, which we send you once you've successfully completed the course. Tea and coffee are available all day, but you need to bring your own lunch. We have a kitchen and a free car park. Asda is a 5 minute walk.
Bring your booking form if you haven't already sent it in, plus any medication you may need during the course, for example an inhaler for asthma.
