Section 123(2A) Notices and Notification documentation

We give notice of our intention to make various disposals of land consisting of open spaces to Portland Town Council under Section 123 (1) of the Local Government Act 1972.  The land comprises the following sites:

  1. Land at Brandy Row, Brandy Row, Portland (0.13 hectares (0.33 acres))
  2. Portland Skate Park, Portland Beach Road, Portland (0.28 hectares (0.69 acres))
  3. Land adjacent Yeates Road and Priory Road, Portland (Three parcels) (3.63 hectares (8.96 acres))
  4. Community Garden at the rear of 57 to 93 Verne Common Road, Portland (0.53 hectares (1.32 acres))
  5. Portland Cemetery, Weston Road, Portland (1.11 hectares (2.73 acres))
  6. Land to the front of 41 Chiswell, Portland (0.02 hectares (0.04 acres))
  7. Land adjacent 9 to 11 Rufus Way, 21 Rufus Way and 18 to 40 Rufus Way, Portland (Three parcels) (0.17 hectares (0.43 acres))
  8. Land between 82 and 84 Croft Road, Portland (0.13 hectares (0.33 acres))
  9. Land adjacent to 22 and 23 Fancy`s Close, Portland (0.07 hectares (0.17 acres))
  10. Playground at Cheyne Close and Reap Lane, Portland (0.03 hectares (0.07 acres))
  11. Play Area at Grangecroft Road, Portland (0.09 hectares (0.22 acres))
  12. Fortuneswell Play Area, Hambro Road, Portland (0.07 hectares (0.17 acres))
  13. Play Area and Recreational Ground at Sweet Hill Lane, Portland (1.05 hectares (2.61 acres))
  14. West Weares Play Area and parcel of Land, Killicks Hill, Portland (0.12 hectares (0.3 acres))
  15. Land at Officers Field, Portland (0.75 hectares (1.85 acres))
  16. Grove Road Recreation Ground, Portland (3.76 hectares (9.28 acres))
  17. Land adj. Bloomfield Terrace, Park Road and Park Estate Road, Portland (0.21 hectares (0.52 acres))
