Risk assessments
Teachers will need to make their own visit to the Roman Town House to devise a risk assessment for their students.

slipping/tripping hazards: the site includes steep grass banks and low stone walls. Care should be taken when moving around the site, and running should not be permitted. Students should not climb on low walls

vehicles: the road alongside the site provides access to the council's staff car park. It is a one-way system and is also used by buses. Students should be advised to take care when entering and leaving the site
