Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) and giant SUP

Thursday 30 July. 9.30am to 12.30pm or 1pm to 4pm (please state preference when booking). For ages 7 to 16 years.

We’re heading to the beach and out onto the water with paddleboards. Beginners will soon get the hang of this sport with friendly instruction from centre coaches. Wetsuits provided.

Hike and fitness games

Friday 31 July,10am to 1pm or 1.30pm to 4.30pm (please state preference when booking). For ages 5 to 16 years.

Get out and about for a hike in this beautiful country park with the Action Van team. There will be games, activities and plenty of laughter along the way.

Den builders and nature explorers

Make a den in the woodland and have lots of fun exploring all things big and small with the knowledgeable centre leaders.

Farm craft and fun

Friday 7 August, 10am to 1pm or 1.30pm to 4.30pm. For ages 5 to 16 years.

Join us on the farm for some craft activities, games in the meadow and the chance to meet some of the smaller animals who call the farm there own.

Woodland survival

Thursday 13 August, 10am to 1pm or 1.30pm to 4.30pm (please state preference when booking). For ages 5 to 16 years.

Take a trek through these fairytale woods to spot plants that are edible, medicinal or useful to humans in other ways. Help build a base camp, sit around a campfire and enjoy some nettle tea!

Climbing and bushcraft

Get some tip top instruction in climbing from the centre’s instructors and pick up some basic bushcraft skills too.

Swing and clamber across the ropewalks and zip wires of this exciting woodland course.

Places must be booked in advance. In times of high demand we may allocate places and we can supply details of how we do this fairly on request.

Events cost £6 per child participating or £8 for longer events (4 hours or more) unless otherwise stated. There is a 20% subsidy for Max Card users and those on income based benefits.

Refunds can only be made if you cancel more than two weeks before an event, or if we have to cancel an event.
