Information for parents/carers

Including everyone: Our tutors, coaches and support team will always do their utmost to support each child with help in understanding instructions and hand-over-hand assistance in craft and activities, where needed. If you are not sure which events to choose, we can advise you. Please call our information line on 01305 252215. All indoor and most outdoor venues are fully accessible.

Support: We will ask you some questions about your child so we can assess his/her support needs. One-to-one support is available, if needed.

Children can be left in the care of our support team in most cases. This may not be possible if your child is a wheelchair user, has to take medication during the event, or may present challenging behaviour – but, if this is the case, your child’s own carer can attend and we will cover the cost.

If you do leave your child with us, you must be available on an emergency telephone number. We ask all parents/carers to stay for a child’s first session to help us get to know him/her. Care passports can be emailed to us. A supervisor trained in emergency first aid will be present at all events.
