Safeguarding adults for managers of provider services update

To give provider managers an update on safeguarding adults practice and policy.

Course objectives

By the end of the course participating managers will be to:

  • state the process clearly for responding to concerns and their role within investigations
  • describe recent relevant legal and policy changes

Target group

Managers who do not supervise Investigations in Dorset Council Adult and Community Services and the Independent, Voluntary and Private sector, who have previously attended the one day Guidance for Managers course. Managers should attend refresher training every three years.

Please note: applicants must have previously undertaken Safeguarding Adults for Managers of Provider Services training.
