The role of the Standards (Assessment) Sub-Committee

The Standards (Assessment) Sub-Committee has responsibility for assessing all written allegations that a Councillor or co-opted member (or former Councillor or co-opted member) of the Council has failed, or may have failed, to comply with the Council's Code of Conduct for Councillors or with an adopted protocol, or, in the case of a member of a Parish Council, the Parish Council's Code of Conduct.

Membership of the Committee

For individual Standards (Assessment) Sub-Committee meetings, four members are drawn from the Standards Committee.

The membership of individual Sub-Committees is listed on the agenda for the meeting.

Standards (Assessment) Sub-Committee meetings are held as and when required.
