Short breaks survey

Enter our prize draw at the end of the survey

We want your views

In 2009 and 2013, we worked with the Dorset Parent Carer Council (DPCC) to gather views of parent and carers to help design and plan the future of short breaks across Dorset.

We are pleased to say that we're doing this again and would like lots of parents, carers and young people as to complete this survey.

We commission a variety of short break services that allow children and young people to have fun outside the home and give parents and carers some much-needed time to themselves. Types of short breaks include:

  • residential
  • sports activities
  • fun days out
  • weekend and school holiday activities

Let us hear your voice

We need to know:

  • what short breaks parents, carers, children and young people would like to see in the future
  • what's working well at the moment
  • what needs to be better

Your answers will make sure we use the limited resources and funding available to provide a range of short breaks that you (parents, carers, children and young people) want - not what others think you want.

Short breaks survey results

We'll publish the results here and on the DPCC website shortly after the survey closing date (1 August 2019).

You can complete it online or, if you need a paper copy call 01305 224794.
