Coronavirus (COVID-19): updates and advice, including help if you are struggling financially

Childcare during coronavirus

Registered childcare providers are now open to more children where it's safe for them to do so. Childcare settings have carried out risk assessments and are following government and council advice.

You should try to limit the number of settings your child attends and only use one setting where possible. If you need to use more than one setting you should discuss it with your childcare provider to reduce the need for them to travel with groups of children, for example at school pick-ups and drop-offs.

For more information read the government's guidance on opening early years, schools and educational settings in the autumn term.

Speak to your child's school or childcare provider to find out what measures they're taking to keep your child safe.
