The centre is closely linked with Shaftesbury Children's Centre nursery.

Activity programme

Contact us at the North Dorset FPZ for information about our activity programme and if you need support to attend. We run a range of activities, groups and events for families.

Living With Teenagers parent group

This group is a safe, friendly and relaxed free course for parents experiencing behaviour and communication difficulties with their teenagers. The group aims to recognise that you are the real experts on your own teenager, whilst giving you the opportunity to share your experiences with other parents.

Building facilities

Facilities include:

  • a large outdoor play space*
  • a parent garden where we are developing an area to grow our own vegetables
  • Wi-Fi
  • a large room for activities or training
  • a small meeting room
  • a working hub where people can hot desk

There is disabled toilets and access.

Opening hours

The centre is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
