Coronavirus (COVID-19): updates and advice

Staying active in your community

Staying active isn't just about keeping yourself fit. Staying active in your community is a good way to meet new people and to keep yourself involved.

We have information about getting out and about, including how to stay in touch with others, transport, and things to do.

Volunteering is a good way to share your skills, learn new ones and contribute to community projects.

If you are retired and enjoy learning for fun, the University of the Third Age (U3A) offers a chance to study many things including: art, languages, music, history, crafts and computing.

We have details of local activities and lunch clubs in our service provider directory.
