All staff support the children's learning and development and provide quality care. The nursery is committed to the professional development of all staff members. The nursery use a named key person system so that each child gets the support they need.

Melissa has a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies.
Lauren is working towards a foundation degree in Early Childhood Studies.
All staff have qualifications ranging from NVQ Level 2 to foundation degree. Most staff have NVQ Level 3 qualifications.

The safety of all children is key to Blandford Children's Centre nursery. The nursery provides safe premises for children to explore and grow.
The nursery follows the Safeguarding Children Policy. This is used when there is a concern for a child's well-being or safety. It ensures that children and families get the support they deserve to keep them safe.
The nursery has a Designated Safeguarding Officer (the nursery manager) who works alongside Blandford Children's Centre team lead.
