First aid training at Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre (WOEC)

We offer a 2 day outdoor activity first aid course.

The course provides theory and practical training. It teaches a range of first aid skills that people may encounter while taking part in outdoor activities and are not near emergency help.

The course includes:

• training in the resuscitation of adults, children and babies
• primary and secondary surveys
• first aid treatment of common illnesses and injuries
• scenario discussions
• safety planning
• group management

You will get a first aid manual and certificate if you successfully complete the course.

Courses take place at Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre.

Cost

The course costs £145 until 31 March 2022. The cost is increasing to £150 from 1 April 2022.

Course dates

Courses are from 9:30am to 6pm on both days.

Course dates are:

• Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 April 2022
• Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 April 2022
• Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 May 2022
• Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June 2022
